The Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs add up to 1,000 lbs of load-leveling support to your existing rear coil springs. They help keep your vehicle level when you’re hauling or towing, which means better steering control, proper headlight aim, and less stress on your tires and factory suspension.
Every load is different, and you can dial in the exact support you need. These molded polyurethane air springs adjust anywhere between 5 psi and 35 psi for even load distribution. Inflate both springs together for general load leveling or set up dual air lines to adjust each side separately when carrying uneven cargo. With manual Schrader valves included, you can easily tweak pressure using a standard air source or pair them with a compressor system for on-the-go adjustments.
When bumps or sway start to wear you out, these air springs step in to steady things out. By fitting inside the factory coil springs, they absorb road shock and reduce sway so your ride feels more stable over rough pavement or uneven ground. The firmer base under load means less bounce and smoother handling when towing or hauling heavy gear.
The Air Lift 1000 springs are made from molded polyurethane that stands up to constant flexing and pressure changes. The kit includes two air springs, two heat shields, tubing, Schrader valves, and hardware for installation inside the existing coil spring suspension. This kit was super easy to install, and it has performed flawlessly. It exceeded my expectations. When I put a loaded trailer on my '21 Gladiator, it didn't squat,the ride was not as bouncy as I'd expected, and it was super easy to inflate and deflate. Highly recommend if you do ANY towing with a Gladiator!
This kit is well thought out and easy to install. Instructions go into detail and provide an excellent foundation to understand what's involved.
The examples for routing the air lines were helpful and the supplied hardware made it all fit seamlessly.
While I understand this product assumes a stock suspension coniguration, it would be great to make spacers available for lifted vehicles.
I buy a lot of jeep parts. These air bags are among the least expensive but made a huge difference! Delivered very quickly as well! Highly recommend

Excellent best addition to my Gladiator for the cost. Air bags work like new a year later
Put these on our 2020 Jeep Gladiator, to make the tow package useable. Really does well with the 8 speed variable transmission and over 7,650 capacity. That said it's still got a jeep suspension and is great for all the off-road fun Jeep is known for. We had a substantial V when pulling the camper till I installed the Air Lift System. All good and driving on a level plane.
The suspension on my jeep Gladiator Mojave is a dream come true, but when towing it sags with very little weight, I was looking for an option that would help with keeping my truck level but did not affect the awesome ride when not loaded, Airlift 1000 seemed to be the right choice and I was right! I had to toy around with the air preassure, 25 lbs when loaded, 8 lbs when not. If you are not loaded and keep the pressure high, the ride becomes super bouncy. But that is what that valve is for.... So far my truck is level when towing, and smooth riding when not (pressure lowered to 8 bs). and best of all it took me 40 minutes with a helper to make the full install. and for a xxx bucks??? seriously??!!! Thanks etrailer... ( I will post before and after pictures at a later time.)
nice product for the money
I have a ‘21 Gladiator ecodiesel and a 16’ trailer with a ‘95 YJ rock crawler, I had a lot of rear end sag when pulling, almost 3” loaded. I was skeptical of these things and read a bunch of stuff about people having problems with them, this was definitely the cheapest way to try to solve my problem so I pulled the trigger. They work great! The directions are easy and to the point and install is a breeze.i would suggest to anyone looking for these to follow the directions and remove the springs to install instead of rolling and collapsing the bags to try to shove them between the coils. Total install time for me was 1 hr 20 min and I took my time installing air lines with wire loom protection.
Works exactly as described. Holds proper pressure indefinitely. I have not had to add air since installation 9 months ago. Easy install. I have them on separate lines with the Schrader valves easily accessible on the rear bumper. Completely reliable.
